Revit Technician
Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire
Salary:: £30,000 - £35,000
Benefits: £5,500 car allowance, 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays, private healthcare, company pension
A national M&E Contractor are looking for a MEP Revit Technician to join their projects team in one of their offices in Northampton, Cambridge or Norwich.
The company provides M&E services to a wide range of clients and businesses across a multitude of sectors including HMP, MOD, Commercial, Education and Healthcare. These projects are typically valued up to £10M.
The MEP Revit Technician will play a key role in supporting the teams with ISO 19650 compliance, MEPH design processes, BIM clash detection, BIM site verification, Cobie management and electronic document control.
As the Revit Technician, you will have the following responsibilities:
Creating and developing 3D modelling on various BIM and CAD software.
Assisting the engineers and other construction professionals in designing buildings and infrastructures.
Collaborating with project teams to ensure the accuracy of the models.
Performing quality control checks on BIM models to ensure compliance with design standards, building codes and specifications.
Working on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritising tasks based on deadlines.
Generating digital presentations for clients and stakeholder.
Maintaining drawing and model quality to company and industry standards
Successful applicants will have the following qualifications and experience:
Qualification in CAD, BIM, or a related discipline.
Working knowledge of Revit MEP and AutoCAD
Strong attention to detail and communication skills
The ability to plan, co-ordinate, and prioritise workloads.
