Commercial Gas Engineer
Location: Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire
Salary:: £47,500 - £55,000
Benefits: Company vehicle, travel paid door to door, overtime, 20 days holiday + 8 BH, Pension
A leading M&E Contractor is looking for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join their expanding service and maintenance team. The business offers an all-in-one Mechanical, Electrical, and HVAC installation and maintenance packages for various sectors including commercial, industrial, retail, offices and schools.
As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will ensure that all PPM, reactive and small installation work is completed to a high standard, in a safe working manner, within programme and to the satisfaction of the client.
As the Commercial Gas Engineer, you will have the following responsibilities:
Service, maintenance, and repair of commercial gas appliances and systems.
Small installation of commercial gas heating systems.
Fault finding and diagnostics of a wide range of gas systems.
Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with current gas safety regulations.
Producing detailed job reports and ensuring accurate documentation.
Providing excellent customer service and maintaining strong client relationships.
Successful applicants will have the following experience and qualification:
Current ACS Commercial Gas qualifications.
Experience working within a similar environment - commercial and industrial.
Overall knowledge and understanding of a wide variety of heating systems and controls.
Proven experience working as a Commercial Gas Engineer.
Strong technical knowledge and fault-finding skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Full UK driving licence.
