Electrician
Location: Cambridge
Salary:: £20.08ph (depending on experience) 37.5 hours a week + overtime

A regional M&E Contractor is looking for and experienced and motivated Electrician to join their growing Small Works team.
The successful candidate will carry out installation and quoted works on a variety of small projects, installing a wide range of electrical systems within commercial, education and healthcare environments across Cambridgeshire.
As an Electrician you will ensure that all work is completed to a high standard, in a safe working manner within programme and to the satisfaction of the client.
As an Electrician, you will have the following responsibilities:
Install containment, wiring systems, lighting, power, distribution boards and associated electrical systems.
Carry out alterations, upgrades and refurbishment works across a range of commercial buildings.
Ensure compliance with current electrical regulations, health & safety legislation and company procedures.
Complete all relevant certification and documentation accurately and on time.
Liaise professionally with clients, Project Managers and other trades on site.
Carry out inspection, testing and commissioning where required.
Successful applicants will have the following qualifications and experience:
Overall knowledge and understanding of a wide variety of electrical systems and their installation methods.
Experience working within a similar environment including commercial, education and healthcare.
Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise to meet deadlines.
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations including AM2.
Up to date 18th Edition qualification.
C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing (desirable).
Full UK driving licence.
