Commercial Plumber
Location: Wisbech, Cambridgeshire
Salary:: Up to £20ph - £41,600

A regional M&E Contractor are looking to strengthen their team with an experienced Commercial Plumber working on new build, refurbishment and maintenance projects across East Anglia and the surrounding regions.
They offer a comprehensive M&E installation and maintenance service from complete installations of heating, hot and cold-water systems and gas pipework to refurbishments and maintenance across a variety of sectors across a diverse range of sectors including commercial, education, leisure and industrial.
Project sizes will vary from larger projects working as part of a team to smaller works where you may be working with a pair or independently.
As the Commercial Plumber, you will be responsible for ensuring all work is completed to a high standard, in a safe working manner, within programme and to the satisfaction of the client.
As the Commercial Plumber, you will have the following responsibilities:
Carry out plumbing installations, repairs and maintenance across commercial and industrial projects.
Install and maintain hot and cold water systems, pipework, valves, sanitaryware and associated plumbing systems.
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently.
Complete small installation and remedial works as required.
Work from drawings, specifications and job instructions.
Complete job sheets, service reports and relevant documentation accurately.
Liaise with clients, site teams and the office regarding completed works and any further remedial requirements.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:
Good overall knowledge and understanding of commercial plumbing systems and installation methods.
Experience working on hot and cold water systems, pipework, valves, sanitaryware and associated systems.
Strong fault finding and problem solving skills.
Experience carrying out installation, maintenance and remedial works.
Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Relevant plumbing qualification such as NVQ Level 2/3 Plumbing & Heating, City & Guilds or equivalent.
Unvented Hot Water qualification would be desirable.
