Commercial Plumber
Location: Cambridge and surrounding areas
Salary: £21ph - 37.5 hours a week + overtime
Salary: Company van, fuel card, weekly pay, 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
A regional M&E Contractor is looking for an experienced Commercial Plumber to join their growing Small Works team.
The successful candidate will carry out installation and quoted works on a variety of small projects, working on a range of plumbing systems within commercial, education and healthcare environments across Cambridgeshire.
As a Commercial Plumber, you will ensure that all work is completed to a high standard, in a safe working manner, within programme and to the satisfaction of the client.
As a Commercial Plumber, you will have the following responsibilities:
Install hot and cold water pipework, sanitaryware, valves and associated plumbing systems.
Carry out alterations, upgrades and refurbishment works across a range of commercial buildings.
Carry out small installation, remedial and maintenance works as required.
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently.
Ensure compliance with relevant plumbing regulations, Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
Complete all relevant job sheets, certification and documentation accurately and on time.
Liaise professionally with clients, Project Managers and other trades on site.
Successful applicants will have the following qualifications and experience:
Overall knowledge and understanding of a wide variety of commercial plumbing systems and their installation methods.
Experience working within a similar environment including commercial, education and healthcare.
Experience working on hot and cold water systems, pipework, valves and sanitaryware.
Good fault finding and problem-solving skills.
Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
Relevant plumbing qualification (NVQ Level 2/3 Plumbing & Heating, City & Guilds or equivalent)
CSCS card.
Unvented Hot Water qualification would be desirable.
